Program Coordinator (1)
• High school diploma and four (4) years child/youth recreation and enrichment programming experience
in a leadership capacity. Bachelor's degree in physical education, child development or related field preferred.
- Experience developing, implementing, organizing and evaluating recreation activities including special events.
- Experience developing and maintaining school partnerships preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in all developmental levels for school age children.
- Provide leadership, instruction and training to team members.
- Plan and coordinate age appropriate activities, events, programs, etc.
- Schedule and monitor the status of programs and activities.
- Provide superior customer service and organizational skills.
- Able to travel to local worksite and work flexible schedule.
- Operate an office computer and utilize word processing, email, time tracking, spreadsheets, etc.
- Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment.
- Strong written and oral communications skills.
- Valid TX Drivers license with acceptable driving record.
- CPR/First Aid certification (must be obtained within 30 days of employment).
Program Assistants (2)
Enthusiastic, energetic, caring adults are needed to work in the after-school hours as program assistants in
an outreach center environment located in the 75216 Zip Code of the Dallas area.
Hours: Generally, hours are from 3 - 6 p.m. during the school year and 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. in the summer. Some
weekends and evenings required.
Pay: $8 - $10/hour (depending on experience).
Qualifications: High-School Diploma or equivalent. Enthusiasm and ability to think outside of the box are a
must. Desire to work with children ages 10-17 in an after-school setting. Must have access to reliable
transportation. Must be at least 18 years of age.
These are contract positions, there are no employee benefits available.
